![]() Any advice would be really appreciated. The arrow indicates the direction the dish needs to face. So the horizontal pole doesnt make this possible. Is it possible to mount a dish on a diagonal pole? (example above in red). Vertical would be too close to the wall and so wouldnt give enough space Many thanks. No, it wouldn't work, as you would not have enough elevational adjustment on the dish to make the dish roughly vertical.
What's wrong with using T&Ks to bring a vetical pole away from the wall? Post a photo of where the dish is going and indicate which way it needs to face, toghther with the dish size and type.

I am looking for an easy way out with this. If I add a pole (by clamp) vertically I should be able to fit a 40cm dish. Could anyone recommend me the type of clamp, pole and dish needed. Pole would i guess need to be about 2 foot. Dish needs to pick up turksat. Thanks very much for all your advice.

The easy way out is to use T&K brackets with a large enough stand off. If yo start clamping things together there is every chance they will slip or move and so the dish will have to be re alligned

T&K brackets and pole should do fine,
you can get the T&Ks in various sizes from 12 inch to 3 foot. Here's a picture of of one of my old dish setups using 18 or it might be 24 inch ones:- T&K brackets and pole

Just a thought but if your fitting such a small dish, a Zone1 will go 90 degrees to the wall on the bracket that comes with it.

Local scaffold merchant, or scaffolders often will sell old worn tube off.
If your going for the zone1 though what do you need it for ?
