Default Wavy Line problem on Acer Projector

Hi guys

I have a technomate, the company has recently gone bust so only have a few channels ie the free to air ones. I also have a virgin media box which I subscribe to all the channels. What problem I have, I have tried to connect my virgin media box through the technomate to an Acer projector, only problem is when I do this I get wavy lines across the screen like an UHF overlap but going through scart. Technomate works perfect on its own to the projector and the virgin media box works fine with a tv on scart and UHF. Acer projector only has 3 connections which are HDMI, RGB and S-Video, the virgin box is 4000, have gone rgb out via scart connector and cant get the acer to pick up a signal. This is a complex problem, any ideas I would be grateful or any ideas how to get the technomate switched back on?

BTW the technomate is model TM-7563 2VA (I think lol)

Cheers guys

Karen
