Default samsung smt-2100c red light on switch stays on

Hi guy's i put in a programmed atmega card in my 2100c
i was checking if the files worked i so i could program a friends card.
i held the red button on the front until it says stop
i then released the button but after rebooting it goes green and tries to boot then a program number appears and it stops and the button changes back to red
my own working card will no longer work
any help appreciated

Might be a psu problem

Crack it open and look at the 6 larger main capacitors on the PSU I think they are 1000uf rated. 4 of mine were leaking and bulging. Easy fix if it is this. Just switch em out

Yes same thing on 2100 psu, as digi says probably caps blown, you can usually see tops bulging.

I've had this problem ona 2110 , and as reddiesel says , replace the PSU if you have another spare (got to be same model of PSU) , if you don't have another available ... just throw it on the radiator for 30 minutes , may fix the problem for a few weeks/months.

Sticking the box on top of a radiator will only re-flow the solder if anything (although I doubt the temperate would be high enough). The solder doesn't need re-flowing, the caps need replacing.

Done it myself mate , not idea how it worked but it did , i put anything faulty on the radiator , fixes alot more than you think.
