N3 is secure, so no receivers without an official subscription can receive the channels.

Where is you satellite dish pointing?

Oh yes - in the last three years the sat lads have lost about a dozen pay tv packages to changes in encryption!

Its just part of the game for us.

Well, to use the Technomate, you'd need a dish of some sort.

The Technomates are basically FTA satellite receivers, with slots (depending on the model) for official cards and CAMS. In the past 'unofficial software' enabled viewing of pay channels without a subscription, but those times have more or less past. With a motorised dish though, or a fixed dish set up to receive from 'other satellite' its still a great hobby. For viewing the type of stuff you got with your Eurovox, with the Technomate, forget it!

With any satellite receiver, you would certainly get much more than you would with a Eurovox in an an area that's been Nagraad, that's for sure.

Lol If you want Sky Sports & Movies you pay 50 quid a month, not 50 quid a year!

Theres no such thing as a hooky sky card.

Going back to the first half of the original question; most of the channels on 13E & 19.2E have dissapeared from my 6800HD Super in the last couple of days.

It's really odd - have a normal Sky dish @ 28.2E & a 80cm with two LNBs at 13E & 19.2E. In setup - TM6800 shows normal signal strength/quality for 28.2E but very low levels (like 0 - 3% ) for 13E & 19.2E.
I thought the dish must have moved but;
- I can still see some of the channels with these silly levels &
- gentle deflecting of the dish does nothing to the signal level.

Have tried
- new official 7.16 patch (after all this happened)
- hardware reset
- visually looked at LNBs, cables, diseqc switch

Am I missing something?
