For those of you who ARE already Mac users. What made you make the switch over to Mac? For me it was the ability to use Final Cut Pro. Im a video editor by trade, so a Mac is a must in my life...

Not made the switch, but will do so soon for the music editing - I used to use the Emagic Logic music editing software, but it's no longer going to be supported on PC. Which is a shame as the other big rival on PC was Cubase, and I found it very unfriendly for editing MIDI.

I haven't switched either, but hopefully the next computer I get will be a Mac. The Mac looks friendly. It will be nice to use a completely new computing environment and see for myself how different it is from Windows and the PC. Come to think of it, some of the nice programs out there are from Apple.

My sister has a Mac and its ok. It isnt enough driving force for me to go get a Mac.
The only use I see for Mac is for editing for Graphics and for Music nothing else. And I am really not a big time user of either. So it wouldnt really help me to buy a Mac. |

In my experience, the fact that Macs have less worry when it comes to viruses, etc. is a big factor. And, I also like the editing features. It's just a user friendly machine and I want one back again!!!!

The more I discover the Mac, the more I am falling in love with it! My friend's Macbook has got a cool bluetooth mouse, which works even as far as 5-6 meters, and a remote control that can be used for presentations or watching DVDs. I wonder if other laptops/notebooks can do as well as a Macbook.

My girlfriend mad me switch >.> But I'm glad now.The user interface is so much more friendly, and as far as them being more expensive. Its in a way a good thing, apple has no competition,if you want to use OSX you have to purchase a Mac.Therefore,Apple doesn't have to cut corners in their manufacturing to bring prices down like most PC companies do.Apple can focus on making high quality components and not worry about keeping them cheap.
