Default RG6 Vs CT100 for HD Signal

Hi guys, what is better to carry a HD signal (within a house), a RG6 quad shielding cable or CT100??

or they even capable of carry a HD signal??

it would either be carrying a HD signal from V+ box or a Freeview box?

Thanks

There isn't such a thing as HD coax, both will do the job for SD depending on the length of cable runs. CT-100 outperforms RG-6.

so will the ct100 carry the 1080i signal without losing its quality?

distance should be maximum 20meters.

No you can't carry a HD signal over coax. Your only options are HDMI or DVI

From your questions that you have posted on other forums as well I now understand what you are planning to do.

My advice is forget it. with the impenging implimentation of Nag3, all but subscribed cable boxes will be useless. And you would need differant cabling arrangment for satellite.

If by freeview via an ariel, yes they will be fine. If you mean via cable, you will only get 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. No BBC3, 4 ITV2, 3, 4, etc etc
