Hi
I would be grateful if someone could help me. I have a Eurovox Max V Black. It started coming up with a message saying "Insert Smart Card" on some channels. Someone on the forums suggested that I reset the box to factory default and then do a power scan. I reset the box to factory default by going to the menu/Config/Clear Data. Then selected selected Factory default. Then I did a power scan. At the end of the power scan, there were no channels there. All Blank. The display on the box just displays 0000 and I cannot change the 0000 to any other number with the remote. So I need help as to what to do. Thanks in Advance

you have probably scanned on the wrong symbolrate its either 6887 or 6952 if one doesn't work try the other

sounds to me that u might av 2 reflash ur box

whereabouts in the london area are you as nagra 3 has been implemented around that area

Thanks for that. I have scanned on the other symbol rate and the channels seem to have reappeared. But I am still getting "Please insert Smart Card" Any thoughts as to what is causing that?

I am around the Dagenham area. What will nagra 3 implemention mean? Will the Eurovox be useless? Thanks in advance.

You will lose all access to the pay channels. It will still work for the psb channels -->> BBC ITV etc.

Then if you want the pay channels back you pay out the relevant fee to the nice people at VM customer services. Or join Sky UK.

If you have lost movies/asian channels in these areas then it the end of free tv by end of the week
