i have lost some channels on my eurovox max sky channels and few others it say please insert smart card.

i have done the powerscan factory reset but still no luck

can anu 1 help.

Sounds like you've been Nagra3'ed. If that turns out to be the case then your box is now a doorstop.

iam from east london but if it was n3 i think all the channels would go but i still have most of them just not movie ones and the indian ones.

what do you think is it n3?

the wife put a new Virgin smartcard in our "proper" box about 3 weeks ago. today i loose my movie channels. will the firmware i have found from 2008 correct this problem? with the use of dnupman? im from Essex by the way. and what is this Nagra3ed??

Nagra 3 is the new secure encryption. There are no fixes, files or hacks for it.

Oncce your area is fully enabled on nagra 3 your box will give you the free channels ONLY. (BBC ITV etc)

If you want the pay channels you buy a proper legit subscription to all the services you wish to view and use a VM box.

If you dont want to pay then you do without..
