not sure about the rg6, as my spairs have connectors on the ends..but i remember by bro got the wf100 waqas mentions, that was said to be good quality as it has a solid plastic core, instead plastice with tiny holes (air insulation?) as this can get water in and with water tension it runs across whole cable. not tested lol.

its the cable before the box on your house that matters, its the fatter one that allows 50mg speeds to reach your house, as it comes through fibre optics.

well that was my main concern babyface regarding the speed, so if i use ct100, in the future when the speeds hit 1gb or whatever would ct100 still beable to handle it??

as long as that speed is implemented in your area(also will need rewiring right to your house, meaning getting rid of the old one..only vm can do this), you can use that from the box on the outside of your house to whichever room you want it in. also look at rg11 because the installation guy said its the latest and has alot less signal drop.

yup i understand all this would be subject to the relevant speed coming down the line in the first place, however i didnt want the cable installed by me to slow my connection down.... cant look at any other cable now, ct100 already been installed literally 30 mins ago lol, i can only hope it was the right choice,

There is a reason why WF100/CT100 is more expensive than RG6 you know. VM use that cable. In fact they use thick material. Ive got some WF100 cable here, but its a bit thinner than what VM has. The only real other option for them is to use RG6 cable and they havent. RG6 is commonly used for satellite receivers
