just nipping in to say hello to everyone am a complete noob to these boxes have just ordered a starview today and am hoping to bounce of you guys and maybe learn a little something along the way

yeah matt the only thing worrying me is the updating process although in saying that the last nugget of info i got from here about the nagravisionwas spot on and trouble free to update on my other box its my first venture into starview and the like currently have smt-2100c on atmega card bought the starview as a back up

yeah the source it came from was on these forums matt and it gave a full easy to follow guide to updating them without unplugging the box which was nice i am in belfast and nagra hit here about 2 month ago and then all the old black boxes went down on monday which was odd but mine is still running nicely and apart from losing pin after the update its been fine

it was a lad in work who i got the info from,
came from someone who works on the cable encryption,
if i get till july happy days if not, f**k it, it's been a good run!
