Default Dbox problem

hi, needing a little bit of advice. a mate of mine gave me his Sagem Dbox 1x chip. i have flashed these boxes a million times but this is the only one thats go me stumped. ive flashed the box with twintowns image, added magic files, changed attributes to 755 and so on but not getting channels, only fta.
the only difference i can think of is that i just got a router for my pc but i disconnected it while i flashed and just used my old modem.

anyone got any ideas

flash with a working image,,, one of the above will do.

time is short for these boxes,, my area is now non working so ratehr than messing about just use a ready to go image.

regards dave

ps not sure which is 1x or 2x so try them both

ok tried both suggestions and still no joy. i think it has to be something to do with the connection between the boxes. its a bit of a coincidence that its the first box that ive had bother with after get my router.
when i flash with ifa its a continues blue bar that goes up. im sure when i used to flash using the same ifa program it went up in individual bars. dont know if thats got anything to do with it either.

almost giving up

how about getting an image working on it then ftp the image from my links inot toe box var\tmp folder then use the box to flash itself by remote method... thatw ay any communication problems wont make a difference... assuming you can get ftp access to the box!

have u pressed the up button and power button together for a few mins then help up button and released power button reset method?

that usually helps when a box is not being a good box!

regards dave
