Default vote for it?

I was editing a post and the tab that says "save" said something on the lines of "vote for it" or "vote now" or something like that. Maybe a subliminal message in the vbulletin forums telling me to use my vote?

I suspect some dodgy javascript is at play here. Seems weird though. It may just be a bug of vbulletin and it may even be well documented AFAIK

Yep, I have noteced that too. I think it must be a vbulletin bug, as I have seen it on other forums too.

Would be nice if vbulletin could sort this out. On a side note, isnt there an update available or does that cost more money?

The licence is renewed annually, so no problems with upgrading - we're on the latest version of 3.8 though - no plans to go to vbulletin 4 as it'll break all our links.

VB4 still has too many bugs even in the RC versions, although it does look nicer.

Ah, I thought that vbulletin may fix some bugs, but seeing as though its not a major bug, its not too much of an issue

Whilst google searching vbulletin v4, Ive seen they have their own support forums!

Shark.

VB4 looks absolutely awful. Sats.co. upgraded at the beginning of january and I still really dont like the new look.

Just had a look at the sat forums and I like the looks, but if it costs just to make something look more appealing, I personally wouldnt bother unless vbulletin4 offered other features or better security etc...

A matter of opinion tbh , ive got my forums back now and im using VB4 , but i see your point , most forums use 3.x and members are familar with it.

I was thinking of trying IPB for a change , That looks decent.
