Default Photo Editing Software

What editing software do you use for your photos? I have been using Photoshop, and occasionally iphoto for smaller jobs. What do you guys use?

There was a photo editing software that came with the purchase of an Olympus digital camera, but I wasn't content with it, so finally I settled on Microsoft Digital Image Suite. It has very nice templates and I can do a lot of the things that others do with Photoshop or PaintShop Pro. Still, the professionals use Photoshop so if you have it, then make use of it.

I've got paint shop pro. I installed the software which came with my Olympus, but had gotten so used to the Jasc's method that I haven't used it more than a couple of times. Paintshop Pro has it's pains but by and large, it's a great program.

I have Paint Shop Pro, too, though Photoshop would be more ideal - just a bit more expensive, though.

I bought photoshop and have not used it. My idea was that I wanted to be able to play with my photos for scrapbooking. However, I did not get a print manual with my program and that drives me nuts. I want to be able to read about how to do something and then do it....I'm sure I could find it online somewhere and print it out....

I just don't like to have 50 windows open and keep switching back and forth when i am trying to learn how to do something. I really need to take the time to sit and learn how to use it or what a waste of money!

I need to find a two day workshop that I could attend to learn some of the basics! That would be a good start.

I used Photo Impression and Microsoft Picture Manager. But I am interested to know if someone is using Corel. I have heard this is also cool.

I use Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro - you can pick up old versions of both of these much cheaper than you'd think, and most of the features are still there.

cs3 is rumoured to be on its way. Think they are almost done testing. I think the beta version is available. I'll confirm later all those cs2 junkies.

I got the Microsoft Picture Manager. Have not really used it all that much though. Just haven't had to yet. Am getting into scrapbooking so maybe I will use it more for that.
