Just flashed my modem with haxorware and... DHCP force won't sniff out any mac adresses, I don't think my modem is connecting to the DHCP server properly, I'm watching the activity through hyperterminal and it constantly does something with DHCP, and times out, or gets no response or w/e, anyone know anything about this?
Also, what lights should be on after you've flashed it? because my ready light is always off now and by usb light is always on and flashing, even though the modem isn't connected through usb. |

Try using DHCP Sniffer to sniff MAC addresses (just launch the program, don't enter a base MAC and DON'T bruteforce). As for the lights, what modem are you using?

Once the modem has fully synced up, every light bar the ready light should come on. The USB light will flash constantly but don't worry, this is normal.

It used to be the case that setting it to 1.1 on 1.1 MACs..it'd try to auth BPI+ but fail due to lack of valid certs, then automatically fall back to BPI. Now BPI+ is enforced on 1.1, it just fails either way. I have no clue why a d1.0 mac would work better with BPI+ (d1.1) selected. Last edited by sr20; 08-03-10 at 10:21 AM. |
