Default power to motor , coax ?

Hi , Got my kit together , thanks to Ian at SS , Just one thing i`m not so sure about before installation, power to the motor .
My DM800 has "out" and "in" on the sat tuner , please can somebody clarify i only need to run coax to "in" and that goes to the motor ? therefore the coax in-feed doubles as a power cable to dish-motor ,
am i right or do i need to run 2 lengths (a 2nd from out on tuner, to power the motor ? )

many thanks

The in also controls the motor as DiSEqC utilises the same cable as the signal from the LNB

Just one cable needed to go to the motor, the power for the motor is fed via the Coax.

The motor has two terminals, one labelled REC the other LNB.

The cable from the motor goes to the tuner input.

Presumably the out port is if you wish to loop it to other receivers-the eagle box or some clone DM 500's for example, though Im not entirely sure

That would be my understanding of it. If you have another receiver then you connect it to the 800 with a patch lead (a short piece of coax with F connectors on either end).

Oh yeah I suppose if you just have a secondary receiver as well. I pointed out clone DM's, as some of them cant power a motor and may need to be looped through a more powerful receiver to work

plus if you want to use the looped box you need to turn off the main one as it controls the lnb if its powerd on.
