Default Help with 0.25 speeds

hello,

I read on one of the posts, and it said that the 0.25 macs are for set top boxes. i have scanned loads of macs from a different UBR and checked like 40 macs and they were all 0.25. i would be grateful if someone can explain to me why i am getting 0.25 macs, and is there a way to tell the speed of a mac address and if it is working without testing each one on haxorware as it take hours.

Thanks

Can't test MACs for speed before using

What are the starts of the MACs you're using?

Always set BPI to Docsis 1.0 in Haxorware

I have a ambit 255, with haxorware 1.1 rev 39. I have tryed nearly 50 macs some that are docios 1.1 and some on docios 1.0. And they all give me 0.25. Also some told me to open the config up check the update line, it says something update.stb.bin if that means anything. Before i could find alot of 10mb macs, but now all of them are 0.25, i have set it to bpi (docios 1.0) with stealth info, however i still get 0.25.

Can some please help me as lot of people are emailing me about the same problem.

update.stb.bin means it's a STB MAC not a modem MAC. get some more.

So why is it all the macs i tested where 0.25. Anyways could you explain to me how i can tell from a list of 100 macs, which ones will work. Secondly how many macs should i find before stopping the scan so that there is sufficent amount to get a good speed (or length of time) , and what distance has it have to be from my house.

Thank you

BPI 1.0 is better...cos that's what the MAC expects...not that it realy matters tho, as long as it ain't disabled or bypass
It's his MACs that are fcked
