Default Do I need a motorised dish?

Hi

I'm new to satellite TV and need to decide whether I need to get a motorised dish.

I am planning to buy a Technomate 1500 receiver and 90cm dish.

My question is what benefits will I get by getting a motorised dish over a normal dish.

I will be using the kit in the UK.

Thanks

Stu

Well for one starters you have answered your own question. A fixed position dish will only pickup a single or a few satellites at the most, where a motorised will cover the satellite belt and give you more options.

A motor and cable will cost over £80 but its worth it.
