Sky+ remote volume not working.
The volume control and mute button stopped working. Everything else is ok. More than likely a dodgy remote but before I buy a new one, has anybody had a similar problem that turned out not to be the remote?__________________

It might just have lost its tv codes (especially if the battery has come out for more than a few minutes). Try resetting them - most manufacturers codes can be found on the interactive button somewhere__________________

no patches
no offering or asking for card shares

you can check your remote control buttons are working by using your cell phone if you have a camera on it. this should give you a idea what you need to do

Now that you mention it I'm pretty sure batteries were out, the catch is broken on the back of the remote. I'll give that a go and see what happens. Thanks.__________________

Yeah tried that Martin. The infra red is pulsing but not as quickly as with one of the other buttons that work.__________________

Just to let you guys know, I've tried to thank you both with the 'thanks' button but it's not working for me. Probably because I'm having to use a proxy. Edit's not working either.__________________

You can pick up cheap sky remotes from big tescos and places like that. Not particularly expensive.__________________
