i am wanting to use a dreambox 500s with my valid sly card but i was wondering if i do this if it would be possibleto also use my official sly box aswell as the dreambox and if this is poissible how would i set it up.

i read that i cannot even do this with multiroom because both boxes have to be plugged into the same phone line. i just wondered if there was a way to do this, i read that there was something called remote tranciever this is something that is supposed to transfer card requests from a Sky box to your PC via ethernet, has anybody heard of this or know more about it or where to get it from

You can use whichever the card is in - you cant use both at the same time.

BTW - whilst you can get radio "card splitters" they dont work with the NDS Videoguard encryption that Sky use.

ah thats not what i was hopeing to hear i have read somewhere about something called a remote tranciever this is something that is supposed to transfer card requests from a Sky box to your PC via ethernet,
i have never heard of it before but it souns like something i would be able to use to use the dreambox and the original sly box at the same time

Ive never heard of one so dont get your hopes up. Anyway Sky are updating their encryption in the near future to defeat card sharing.

how will updating stop sharing the white cards have allready been released have they not and they are still been used to share?
