I don't think there is a practical way of adding a USB port to the TM1500 Sid. There would be no incentive to, as its an old model, and the replacement models have USB.

I don't know if it would work in a 'tm'.But I sometimes use a PCMCIA card bus card in my old packard bell laptop. It gives me four usb 2 sockets.I know that my tm5400 is usb equipped. But looking at the card slot it looks to be a PCMCIA` card slot.My p b do'es have usb i.i so maybe the card just upgrades that.Or maybe the card is a self contained usb converter.Perhaps someone knows.

I asume that the tm1500 has a card slot.
A couple of pics.

EDIT.Thinking about it. It probably would not work anyway because the menu's would have no reference for USB input.
