Default bpi 1.1

my modem went down for about 2-3 weeks i read and read and read finally i read change nic mac n change bpi as i was running infinite i couldnt chabge bpi so i managed after weeks of trying to0 flash hax rev 39 changed nic mac changed bpi wham online 10 meg so now to the problem lol ive read on a few other forums this is just a temp fix and that the modems will be dead soon like the boxes on nagra 3 but theyr chnging to bpi 1+1 is this true

Although if 00:02 and 00: D0 go docsis 1.1 we're fked. 120/200's are both capable of it.

is this true or not or are the modems safe for now i also heard not off they great forums hpsauce.com and whataloadofbs.com tho not to power down ure modem wen u get it working or it wont connect again i ask these questions because if they r going down i want to upgrade my main modem to 50 meg wen my cable box goes down

Yes it has. Read other forums, not just this one.

They didn't do it years ago because they were crap then

Avoiding rebooting modem won't help at all
