As you are discovering DB's are not for the casual enthusiast - by the time you figure it out properly Nagra 3 will have arrived!

gee thanks...... it was working before. says no channels were found, please copy the services.xml and ubouquets.xml or execute a channel scan, i do that but still get nothing, although 300 were found

is there any way to do a factory reset then scan again?

i deleted all channels - reboot - press info - blue button to enter utils menu - make sure tuner is set to use new tuner - exit a few times to blank screen - press menu - sevice menu - system scan - mines was set to cable uk 6887 (this depends on your image) then scan..... once its done and found channels you need to reload plugins and reboot.. you still will have no channels found, you need to edit bouquets and add channels to the all channels bouquet.

aint at home so instructions are from memory, menus may be slightly different
