Default Server upgrade this weekend

Just to let you know there's a server upgrade being planned for early Sunday morning - as many of you may have noticed, TW has been struggling to stay up recently, with the site being slow and sometimes timing out.

Simply put, we've been over-loading the server, so I'm getting the RAM on it doubled.

TW will be down for about an hour around 5am-6am on Sunday - all things going well - after which, the server should be faster and more secure.

In the event things do not go smoothly, I'm making sure a full back up of everything is done on Saturday, and then the server techs have Sunday to sort out any unexpected problems that may arise.

Here's hoping it's be a smooth upgrade, though.

Hi blakey, are you for the land of Oz mate? Just that saying "blue-arsed flies" is a real Oz one, not heard it in ages, I was in Oz for a few years, but that was some time ago now.

"Blue-arsed flies" I thought was a common expression in the UK, I 've used it loads.
