Hello i am in liverpool and am experiencing some problems with my eurovox 1000sl. Know i dont now anything really about these boxes. I have trying doing a quick scan and am trying a deep scan on 6.887 and i have done 1 on 6.952. When i scan it just says..."TP:000" and the level and quality are stationary on 8%. Could someone maybe tell me are thier any solutions?

can you confirm you have a live feed coming into your property
eg phone line or modem

dont think liverpool has yet moved to n3-

buns have you tried factory default and erased all data and rescanned

Buns if you get stuck

Press menu-scroll to config-clear data pin number 0000 scroll down to factory default- symbol rating 6.887/6952 press ok leave the box alone for 20 mins by this time you wil have your channels back up..

do the above and you should get your channels w back, but you will have to sort your favourites manually..

unless theres a cdf file for liverpool

doing a factory default wont affect f/w already installed

Tiger what exactly is that articale about bud? I dont know much about these boxes...Just how to scan and set-up.

What is N3 tiger?

Thank stuss. Ive tried that...My progress is 250/770 through and no TP found yet...Still says TP:000

What is N3 tiger?

N3 is a new flavour of encryption that so far has not been cracked or un-encrypted anywhere in the world, so it means an end to pay TV unless you subscribe to either Virgin or Sky.

As far as your scanning is concerned, make sure you're scanning on the correct symbol rate. If one isn't finding any, then scan on the other, then sort them manually into favourites, although with N3 only a matter of weeks away, it may not be worth it.
