Hi peeps, forgot my password for my router and also forgot i'd changed the "Admin" "Admin" to get to the tp link site to check out my security password, so though no bother i'll just reset, thing is my router will not reset itself no matter how long i hold the reset button on, is there anything i can do to get back in, pissed of having to move my modem upstairs/downstairs etc

have you tried resetting with the power on and off?

you could try a hard reset, keep it pressed for 90 sec in total 30 sec's with power in 30 sec's with power off and 30 sec's with power in again

which router is it??
remove power plug
press and hold reset
plug in power
release reset button after a few seconds
