Default Problem with wireless card

since i upgraded to win 7 ive been facing issues with my intel 3945abg card turning it self off after a while. I never had any problems before when i had vista or xp on my laptop.
I went to to the driver and turned off the option where it says
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power but its still happening after a while it turns off it self and the only way to make it work again is if i clik troubleshoot the problem
Thanks

win 7 power settings in control panel,a lot of devices are set to sleep when inactive, you need to be in administrator profile to change them.

i beta tested win7 and found that a lot of drivers that came with it worked just fine, when i tried to upgrade my video drivers (nvidia)the whole pc crashed even the drivers came from win update were correct for the card, when i got the drivers from nvidia direct they were the same, i decided to use vista drivers and they were fine (typical), i installed them by right clicking the file and choosing "run as administrator" with uac control was off and antivirus switched off (internet disconnected) during the install, reboot after install and all went well, moral of the story is i went back to xp.
