Default 2 Modems

This may be a daft question to some of you but if I use a splitter on my moden cable then connect another modem will they both work Ok ??

2. plug the split feed into the modems

You need two different MAC addresses - one for each modem. If you pay a subscription for one of them, then that already has a MAC address.
