I've googled and checked out a few things... What kind of price am I looking at for protek system with a motorized 1m dish & cable plus the needed cards and anything else that I may need. I'm not asking for a quote just a ball park figure.... Then I can decide if it's still worth going ahead with.

Plus if anyone has any other ideas on topics for me to google I'd be glad of the help and advice.

Is it worth trying to install myself? I'm a qualified electrician but have no satellite installation experience. What are the risks during setup? I have a local fella that installs for £100.

Anymore things to google?

I've taken a look at your sight southern and also seen your adds on eBay but want to make sure I get the right one.

Decided to go with the Protek 500 too start with then maybe upgrade in 6 months or so if it suits my needs, Thx Rick & Ian for all your help, Steve
