Ring india again and tell them the modem won't turn on. They'll send a new one then just use that.

Likely it's the modem as your mates 10M one works fine. No point at all messing with the PC.

DAMMIT!!! I had called up INDIA earlier on and said i want a new modem cause this one was messing me about and i will cancel if i don't get a new modem! The tw**S wanna charge me for a new one!! Should've just bloody said the modem died! If i get me this sb5101e from cableguy9299 on feebay is it rocket science to do my own mac or should i just folk out the £75?!

just leave it a few days m8 and phone back again and tell the dave the nob hed from india, that it has now died and dont light up or anything, and say u have tried ur m8 next door power supply which works on his modem and its still the same dead as a dodo, and then they shud sent u a new one

my mother inlaw and my m8 recently got new replacments (FOC) when they phoned up and spoke to dave from india m8 john who was happy to sort them out
