Hello I'm new to this but I have vm in front room and would like to get a 3 way splitter so I can get a vm box for the bedroom but would I need a viewing card for the second box (bedroom) if so could I just buy one from eBay or friend and will it work or does it need to be registered ? To my second box to get some channels as the one in front room ?

If I can card share how do I do it and is it as easy as it sounds ?

Yes but you will have to pay for the extra box and card, as N3 encryption is here now.
For card sharing you would need a special type of box, two if you want to share in your bedroom, either a linux type like dreambox or one of the new ones like a starview 6, you could also share with friends if one box is used as a server,.

To share the card he wil need two Linux boxes, one is of no good to him. A bit expensive for his own use, he would be better and way better off buying the second room sub from VM.
