Default Freesat iplayer

Hi,

My first question (!) is I need to get some homeplug adapters for my tv and router in the living room so I can use freesat iplayer, can anybody recommend a good make/pair?

Also I have a av wireless set up from my humax receiver box to my bedroom tv upstairs. If I am now going to add another wireless set of gizmos for iplayer that means a lot more leads. Can this be done more 'wirelessly'? my wife is moaning about leads everywhere!!!!

Lastly, sorry to go on, is UK Gold not on freesat? I notice it's on my mate's freeview and I thought freesat and freeview were similar in content.

Thanks in advance

Matt

Freeview and Freesat are two completely different transmission formats and the channel line up diverges quite drastically. UK Gold is pay on satellite.

Ian at Southernsatellite was selling Homeplugs for this purpose, I have not tried them though, but his customer service is excellent.

Yes, I know what you mean about wires, unfortunately some wires are necessary, my wife moans as well, but I just ignore her.

Can you get digital receivers with a wireless network card type operation in them like my belkin laptop card? That way, I would not need extra paraphanalia or an ethernet cable!
