hello anyone can help im in the manchester area and hve lost all channels on my the box usb 2 does anyone eles hve thois problem or know of a way to get the channles back

Nagravision 3 = VM's nice shiny new encryption, replaceing Nagravision 1, VM's full of holes, Ropey old encryption. For more info just search

Woah hold your horses. All the info you need is right here on the forum.

The encryption upgrade is taking place in basically 2 stages -

Nagra 1 (ropy full of holes --> "3.7" (which is an update before the Nagra 3 kicks in)

"3.7" --> Nagra 3.

3.7 can be opened but once N3 reaches your area its game over. N3 is TOTALLY secure - theres no hacks, no keys & no firmware for it. Either you pay VM or you pay Sky if you want the pay services. Or you do without.

Your choice but thats all the choice you will have.

if your box was working ok recently then all you need to do is a default reset and scan on your provider
then go into the secret menu (Menu/1 5 7 0) and turn keycode on

thanks for the repky ive 1570 and re scanned lost lots of channels seem to be getting only freeview channels .
