Freeview HD is scheduled to start broadcasting from Emley Moor on 31st March 2010.

If that's true how come we are way down near the bottom of the list, backend of next year till we switch aint it?

Freeview HD will be available on some transmitters before the digital switch-over. So although the analogue signal won't be switched off until 2011 in the Yorkshire region, Emley Moor will be broadcasting HD channels before then. You will be able to receive these (initially BBC HD and ITV 1 HD) providing you have suitable equipment (either a Freeview HD receiver or Freeview HD ready TV).

BBC HD, ITV1 HD, and Channel 4 HD are now being broadcast from Emley Moor.
