Exclamation Modems gone off: Read this

Hi I have been reading a few posts on the topic along the lines of, "my cloned modem has gone off", "the end is nigh for the modems". Alot of people are moaning that mines down aswell, so what i have done is decided to see what areas throughout the uk are having problems on Vermins side rather than everyone saying that modded modem is gone down blah blah and crying over the loss of service when they actually dont pay for it in some cases.

Currently there are problems on Vermins side in the following areas:

DA17 (Belvedere) - Loss of broadband internet and digital tv.
All of the Southeast - Loss of broadband internet and digital tv.
HG18 (Mansfield) - Total loss of all services.
CH43 (Prenton) - Loss of broadband internet and digital tv.

So if your in any of these areas and your modded modem has gone down this may be your problem not "all modded modems are going down".

A few people may feel insulted by this post but all I can say is that if push comes to shove and you really cant stand the problems with modded modems going down all the time the just pay a subscription.

SUBSCRIPTION = LESS HASSLE AND LESS PI**ING ABOUT

I for one am never happier than when my modem goes down and gives me an excuse to play with the configuration, this is after all a hobby,if it was all about free internet I'd have given up long ago,for me it's to do with trying to keep one step ahead, after all where's the fun in an opponent that doesn't fight back?

My clone is working fine, been on for the past week here in teesside. I have the DHCP error in my log but my modem has stayed on. It just changed the config to Pd2b67121e75c8903.cm in the HFC param's after the DHCP error.

Looking forward to getting my sub back on 2moro lol.

ALL mods are going to go off, as long as they can implement the detection across all networks, which they should be able to do without major issues.

@ Nuttyprof, I agree mate, there's no fun in beating yourself, always better to have an opponent! lol
