Default help with dbox image

hello
hi
my original box used to freeze at the sportster 2005 version so
i managed to load a sportster pro image onto the box via image flashing assisstant . apart form the german language i changed i couldnt scan the box. it didnt seem to be connected to my cable. ive managed to get this far from a freezing image to getting one loadeded yet to find it unworkable. what am i doing wrong.

i tried commando images too but the screen is just blank but with the sportster pro is a little better but no channels not even fta.

i cant even ftp the box cos the i cant get into the ip address as it never let me in that far.

please help

thanks

Use the Commando 11.3 (latest and final version) image, FTP the Magic Files over, select your location by pressing the blue button, selecting Location Scanning and then scan using VirginMedia as the provider. I had to enable Evocamd as the emu to bring all my channels back once I had scanned them. You can also enable the box to use icons for each channel, just follow the PDF readme in the Commando 11.3 RAR archive .

hi thanks for that. iimage flashed it over.
not sure how to select virginmedia but it directed me to my own town and used the frquency i normally use so i just did it with that scan as uk cable. it doesnt seem to be picking up any transponders . not sure how to enable the evocamd as the emu.

any further help would be great.

hello againjust to update you. i managed to get a latest commnado image 11.3 on the box . the problem with the box is that it used to freeze at the logo screen of the old image. i thought id try and use a new one but this one allowed me to get to scan the channells but crashed about halfway through. i think its the box thats buggered cos it used to turn itself off and used to have problems powering up so im fed up with it and bought another one.its form dboxstore and has commando image 11.3 loaded on it but the guy says it doesnt have the emus or keys on it. is that a trick statement or not?i thought if you loaded on the image it would simply scan and pick up all the channeslls.i havent got the box yet and im sure hes protecting his buisiness as its on ebay. hes got about 5oo+ good feedbakc so im sure hes cool.what do you think?anyway ive got the ip of the box now and default gateway as i manged to get into the service/settings bit a few times before it buggered up again. it just freexes on the commando image as it did with the sportster image.sorry to be a pain but its rare to find someone who can help with simple terms cheerssid
