hi all not sure if this is in the right thread so sorry if its not, but what i want to do is hook up a cable wire to the wires underground. its in my cousins house. Hes never had cable before but my other cousin next door has it. so i was wondering how i would go about making a cable wire come out the wall and connect it to the next door house underground wires so it would be a live cable line. any guides for idiots you could link would be helpfull or if you could explain in step by step for someone who has no clue what to do would be very much appreciated
thanks ethan.

hehe thats what hes doing now wireless but my antie always moans about him using all the bandwith, ive got a modem here for him but as he doesnt have a cable feed he cant use it, i guess the best way would be to get a splitter and a long coax cable and run it from the live cable feed next door then so i dont have to start digging s**t up :P

lol it could be done just drill a hole from both homes and take the cable from 1 house to the other and just dig a long hole 2 put the cable in so you cant see the cable going from 1 house 2 the other... let us know if it works...

This is probably what i'd do. Split the feed inside the house, drill a hole right through to next door and run the cable through there. My cable feed is coming from next door's outside box (mainly because VM couldn't be arsed digging up more ground lol) and it works fine.

A trained, commando mole would be quite fun to have
haha. You wouldn't need to dig, get him to drill a hole through his wall, run another cable from the brown box (use a splitter if need be) and leave one cable in your house and run the other into his, through the hole.
