Default Duna HD 1W

The telecommunications satellite Thor 5 satellite Norwegian operator Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSBc) today launched the official Hungarian program broadcast in high definition televisions (HDTVs) - Dune HD. The program becomes the first HD station available free to the position of 0.8°W.

Program Dune HD broadcasts on two transponder on the satellite Thor 5th The official distribution is the frequency 12.341 GHz. Dune HD delivers the same content as the Duna TV in standard definition (SD). The difference is particularly the image quality. Dune HD broadcasts at a resolution of 1920x1080 the compression format MPEG-4/H.264 video bit rate of 9.2 Mbit / s. Sound is distributed in the quality of 256 kbit / s.

Technical parameters :
Thor 5 (0.8°W), freq 11.862 GHz, H pol, 28000, FEC 7/8, DVB-S/QPSK

In the same multiplex as well as broadcast Duna HD ,Duna TV (Duna I) and Duna Autonomia (Duna II) and they begin a parallel spread of two orbital positions - 13E and 0.8 W. While the original position of 13°E to spread analog and digital Duna TV Duna TV Autonomia on 1/4/2010 terminated. Is released by an entire transponder, which can be used to extend the range of paid services. It is not yet clear if the Duna TV broadcast in digital transmission will end here as well.

Did you know Duna translates as Danube?

Im disappointed Duna II is leaving 13E - I used to watch their space overnight segment regularly for the fabulous orbital views.

Never knew that.
So what does Autonomia translate as?
Its a shame,the overnight space viewing is great,as is the daytime Hungorama,on Duna II.
