Hey guys.

I dunno if anyone can help here i just bought a max232 lead from fleabay & it doesnt seem to be doing anything in hyperterm/putty. It has a red LED on it thats lit up (not sure if thats bad?) The old max232 i had never had a led & was borrowed from a friend & he wanted it back so i bought my own. Tried on 2 OS's (XP & Win7) and no success. Any ideas?

Dont know mate are you making sure the connection to the modem is right, It must be the first pin on the padem power lights facing away from you. Like so

Thanks alot jojolv_vm. This goes on different to the last MAX232 lead i had lol weird. All is well now tho cheers matey

The thanks button isnt there mate, its not showing at the side thanked in <number> of posts etc *confused*, i was lookin for it before i posted my last post lol.

If you read the announcents section , Brian stated that the thanks button is temp out of action..

And Btw asking for thanks is against the rules.
