Default technomate 5400 usb

hi all newbie here so HELLO
if i buy a technomate 5400 with a motorised dish can i put a patch/files on to box to watch tv movies etc etc now when everyone gets hit by n3 are the technomate boxes affected or will these stilll be ok i was told they will be redundant when n3 comes out

The current Nagra 3 rollout affects CABLE not SATELLITE

However, the Sky satellite encryption is even more secure than VM's new sytem so the only movies you will be watching with patches will be on the freebie channels like Movies4Men!

If you want the Sky Movies channels then you pay for them - and if you want HD movies you pay LOTS!

If you attach a tm5400 to a motorised dish as you stated above you can still patch the box and get free channels on digi tv on thor. Digi film 1+2 have moved to the n3 encryption but there are still movies on procinema and sport availabe at the moment. They have been sending out new cards for ages, but due to the cards being sent out across various countries it's taking a long time to do. Once the roll out is complete whenever that may be there will be very little left open with your box.
