Default Virgin Media channels on Pc

Hi

new here i know this is more than likely a well used topic ? i live in Uk i am trying to get my head round DVB-C capture for VM channels only issue is i cannot seem to find DVB-c card anywhere.I am not looking to burst my bank account on this and as i am new to this type of thing i am looking for all the help i can get.I know what to do regarding encoding & uploading. But the stores i have tried only seem to stock DVB-T / DVB-S cards ?
So does anyone know of a good low priced DVB-c card & i believe i also need a card reader as well ?

in other words Help

DVB-C cards have always been difficult to find in this country as, although not technically illegal, they are against all UK cable companies terms and conditions to use, so the market has always been limited to say the least!

That said, save your money. If your area has not currently changed to Nagra3, it will do very soon. As soon as it hits, it means you will only be able to get channels 1-5 on any DVB-C setup and any money you spend on CAMs, Funcards, card programmers and CAM programmers will have been wasted.

Buy a freeview (DVB-T) card, it will be cheaper than any DVB-C card would be and you'll be able to get more channels out of it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

For your first question, see post 2 in this thread.

As far as your eurovox goes, when n3 hits your area it's gone.

No afraid not N3 is secure, card sharing is possible with the right receiver, use the search button if you need more info on that.
