I lost the popular emtv music channel so decided to rescan. I noticed that everything else was working except emtv etc so i reloaded software. I've tried several different versions but can't manage to get v4.57 (trust me i've looked in the FTA) unless i'm blind.

Then i started to notice SS didn't work, then the film channels and now its basically just Freeview.

I got my new card through the door from VM a fortnight ago and had heard that was the first sign of what was to come.

To be honest i've heard someone else has had the same yesterday in Bromley. The only thing making me slightly suspicious is the lack of other people posting saying they have the same.

When the boxes went down in 08 boards like this were going crazy.

Hmmm, well got v4.57 and loaded it up. emtv still not working but all others are. No SS1-3 though only SS4.
I take it this means i haven't been nagra'd? Or is the emtv (all channels) moved frequency?

when they start switching to nagra 3 you gradually lose channels over a week or two to eventually you have only channels 1 to 5 left.
if your area has the new cards the end is nigh.

Well i am at work at the moment. I left it as it was, got a text from the mrs an hour after leaving saying it had switched to "updating" again before it was going to 180% and then "scrambled message". She went out, came back and the channels were working again.

There doesn't seem to be many people on boards complaining of the same.

Obviously not as unlucky as your parents. Thats the second post i've read from you in a similar nature. Quite why you aren't banned is beyond me.

Some people are just walking adverts for contraception.
