Default Zone 1 Minidish

I'm thinking about using a cheap Satellite Finder to see what other Satellites I can pick up this weekend. I've got a Zone 1 minidish which is currently pointing at Astra 1 and working OK.

I've read another thread which suggested that I should also be able to find Hotbird at 13 degrees.

Is there much else I could find with a Zone 1 minidish?

42e is possible. You might even scrape a few TP's off 1w. You could also try 5w. You will need to skew the dish to alter the LNB skew sufficiently.

dishpointer.com is pretty good at giving you the direction it should be pointing at. if your meter buzzes, chances are it is hotbird your poining at as theres not much eitherside of it.

when i wacthed the guy do my dads sky dish i was laughing at the spectrum analyser meter he had... fair enuff its a nice bit of kit but i've not struggled locating 28e just by looking at where the other dishes are pointing

30W should be possible too, but the skew will need drastically altering. Other possible satellites include 39E, 23.5E, 9E,4.8E.
