Default Problem with Nottingham Virgin Media Nokia dbox, 2 chip

Good morning and hello to you all,

Having owned a dbox for a year or so I found myself having to flash it yesterday with the laky pro image. I managed this successfully and when I initially scanned for services it picked up most of those available (I think, I do not have a bouquet for these services so as usual there were lots of the same channel all over the place) but today very very few channels are working.

I have rescanned but alas the channels are not showing up despite the box showing a signal, resolution, etc (in the signal information screen from the event viewer).

I am hoping that you can help me with two things:

1 - An up to date bouquet for the Nottingham area (the one I have found on this forum is from 2008 and has made no difference when I installed it).
2 - Any advice on how to fix this issue, whether that be further tweaking of the laky install or using a different image (I have bigmaq etc).

Thanks in advance for your help

No, I have not. I see bigmaq has versions 7 to 11 available, should I use the v11 or stick with 7?

Step by step guide to transferring the new Nagrarom7.bin file to Dbox2

you will find the file you need to transfer to your box in the download section

go to- private fta/some download links/dbox

Thanks guys, it seems that the laky image I am using already has that file in the /var/keys folder.

Any other ideas?

i very much doubt you will have the correct keys folder and i think this is your problem.
when you are in the download section, downlod the magicfiles_rar and take the keys folder from there and overwrite your existing keys folder.
once you are in the download section the magicfiles_rar is in the X2 folder.

google bouquet wizard for your bouquet problem

As an extra treat, try adding these 3 files backing up your existing services first of course
Attached Files
File Type: rar lincoln-services.rar (6.7 KB, 19 views)
