PSU would be the first thing to check, you will have to lay it carefully on a sturdy table and remove the back panel, they are all plug in cards, the psu one will be the one the mains cable is attached to, sometimes they have a secondary one, check for burst caps the tops shouldnt bulge out, any signs of burning, dead shorts etc you can get replacement cards if its beyond repairing, you can get service repair manuals if you google they are very comprehensive all wiring diagrams and parts, values ,troubleshooting, etc, about a fiver or so, or if you search out a few plasma tv sites they may have it in their downloads free, i have repaired quite a few plasma tv's now and im no expert.
