Hello all in the Manchester area not had my Max V on for over 12 months. Just put it back on and performed a full powerscan. All channels appear can see all free channels but all other channels are displaying the above yet nothing happens.

I have had it on SKYSP1 no for over 4 hours and still have th esame message. Last FM was around April 08. Im in the Manchester area can anybody help ppplleeeaaassee?

Try this

Menu , Language, ok, 1968, turn emulation on..

Thanks for the advice but I have a max V and when I select menu/language settings all i get is a list where I can select different languages.

Am I doing something wrong?

when you press the menu button it takes you straight onto the main Menu page (language which is highlighted),all you do from there is press ok this takes you to languge page.from there its 1968

Menu, OK, 1968, Emulation On , ok exit

Emulation was already enabled anymore advice apart from throw it out of the window?

A few week back i had same problem and was adviced to Try a Factoty reset, which i did and all was ok after that

if your maxv has been off for a year i suggest you try this ..

Press menu-scroll to config-clear data pin number 0000 scroll down to factory default- symbol rating is either try 1 or the other 6.887/6952 press ok leave the box alone for 20 mins by this time you wil have your channels back up..

do the above and you should get your channels back, but you will have to sort your favourites manually

Depends what firmware it's on

Might need flashing with the latest one or manually input the keys and see what happens

Firmware is from around April 08 already wiped channels and re power scanned Just dont know what to do
