IllusionSat M3 Conax Files
Welcome.
I'm going to post files for IllusionSat M3 receiver here. The files will be available this weekend to give me time to get them together with a description and instructions. IllusionSat is a receiver seen mostly in Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe so often help is not available in English. I'll try to keep regular updates for Files and firmware, Including VECTRA here in this thread. If someone needs files right away, plz pm me. Otherwise they will be available this weekend and beyond!

Re: IllusionSat M3 Conax Files
Ok, more IllusionSat M3/C3 files.
For those of you who know more about how to really use these applications, please let the rest of us know. A brief description of the files here: IllusionSat Basic pack: latest vers of Vectra (3.61a) with all new keys so far. latest firmware for Illusionsat (M3v5_60) and my latest list of channels I use. Vectra Edit Vers 4.08: This is an advanced code/key editor for Vectra. You'll have to tinker with it to make it work it's best. I'm still learning to use it. If it's too much for you, stick with the "simple vectra edit" in the earlier posts. The "Kyng Pack" in 3 steps: Apparently you can "convert" your IllusionSat to "Kyng" and no longer use IllusionSat firmware. This is good in that you can download hex files and other types into your receiver, but bad in that you must reprogram it and re-EVERYTHING it and yourself as to how to use it. If you have a motorized dish you'll have to reset all that and set up your receiver as if it were a "new" and different receiver type. In the end, your receiver will be more compatible with others...I think...once you learn how to use this new type of firmware/conversion. I'm still working on Kyng and there's not much English support, but we'll see. It somehow uses hex and dat files to create keys. In any case I'm still learning to use it. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY if you decide to use it, use all the readme info. Also, if you don't know how to load your entire settings, firmware, and channels into your comp to save to recover in the event you can't get KYNG to work, I don't recommend it. More experienced people are welcomed to give their advice or input.

Here's the basic updated dsp files for illusionsat M3 as laid out in my system.
As of this writting, the vers of Vectra works for d + and others. It is the most current coding that I know of now. To load vectra into your illusionsat receiver: connect your receiver and pc with a DB9F null modem cable. Run the "loader 1.5b" application. Browse to select the "vectra 3.66.81a" (or any other vectra you have). Press the "menu" button on your receiver and choose "communications" at default it should read "pc to receiver" and press START. You'll have 59 seconds to begin downloading the file. To download the file press the "start" button on the loader 1.5 application. After loading, your receiver will restart. You'll now receive coded channels if you have the right codes. Be sure you have a valid subscription to your tv provider! You can manually change codes on your reciever using the VECTRA application. Menu > Applications > Vectra Then use your remote to switch between code lines. Once you enter codes, esc out and if your new code works, you'll know if you see picture.
