This year the final of champions league will be distributed in HDTV technology. Trough 2005. year the sell. of TV with HDTV support was grow about 50%. There is channels like Sat.1 on Astra 1 ( 19.2 east) which send it signal in Mpeg4 in new standard DVB-S2. Until the end of April in Germany will start campagne of sell. HDTV digital receivers which will be produced by Phillips, Humax and Pace. All games of WorldCup 2006 will be transmited ih high resolution.

i'd like to know if the receivers today can handle the HDTV or do we need to buy new receivers?
