I have been following this product for a while:

A few weeks or so I got an invitation to do a pre-order as I think they are coming out in June. The price is going to be $299.00 Which is probably a little bit more than I would want to spend on this.

It looks like a great device though, as it is all self-containted. Just program it in to your wireless network and make and receive skype calls with the wireless headset.

Anyone else thinking abour pre-ordering one of these?

Sounds like a nice idea, but a little on the pricey side?

Yup. I really wanted to get one, but it is too high, so I will wait and see. I am going to get a regular portable phone with skype built-in for now.

Although, I have seen these already discounted by $50.00 and they have not even come out yet.

It's expensive, but I will admit that every piece of netgear equipment I've bought has been great and really lasted.

But, like you,, I need to work on the skype.
