Default Cable modem carrying TV signal

Hey All

I am wondering if this is possible. My cable modem also carries a signal for digital TV, as I've connected my DBOX 2 up to it and receive all the channels.

Is there somekind of software out there that runs on your pc, so you can also view the channels on your desktop pc, as you do on a dbox2. After all, the dbox is just a multimedia box?

Anyone know about this or anything that exsists to do so?

You can get a DVB-C card for your computer that plugs into a spare PCI slot and use ProgDVB software with it, just like with a Skystar2 satellite PCI card.

If your Dbox2 is connected to the same network as your PC, you can stream video from the dbox2 and watch it on the PC.
