Now that Nintendo has renamed the very cool named Revolution with the very pun-laden and fun-made-of name Wii, what do we think? Is this more likely or less likely to make you want to buy one?

I think it's a marketing decision made in Hell - Wii? WTF!!

But...from what I hear, Ninetendo are really lining people up, especially with the new type of controller. Maybe the name sucks, but while the PS3 carries such a big price tag, we may find people flocking to the Ninetendo Wii after all.

I know I plan to get a Wii for my kids as Nintendo is still the best for younger generation. I am tired of the MS and PS high prices I mean the price of a cheap computer it is getting ridiculous.

The Wii is the best fun /party console the controlers are great very easy to use i was very surprised how quickly i got used to it all platforms should use them

I personally found that the Wii is a disapointment (aparet from the retro games) I just can't get used to playing mini-games and the Wii remote is just annoying for me as I have weak wrists and all the "flicking" the remote around is tiring.

Anyway the fascination for the Wii will die out when GTA comes out on the PS3 which is a shame because i'm sure someone somewhere could produce a non-mini-game game.

talking of the gta ive heard they are bringing out that game on only the ps3 and not ps2, why is this? are they forcing people to go out and buy the new console?

Basically for that reason and because Rockstar said that it really couldn't be done on the PS2 because of it's graphical limitations
